The concept of Islam is the concept of peace. This is a universal and all-accepting manner of Islam that comes from the word SILM which means peace. However, like many widely spoken truths, the meaning and scope of the word ISLAM need to be properly understood. Because the right words also have the potential to take on wrong or incomplete meanings. The Holy Qur’an has described The teachings and the features of its provision of Islam in various verses. These teachings and features prove that Islam is truly a religion of peace although all the religions of this world tell some tales of peace.

 Islam Establishes Peace in Life

Firstly, we all should know how to achieve a peaceful life. A peaceful life is a combined pack of peace, justice, equality, right, safety, and security.  The teachings of Islam inspire us to be honest, obedient, kind, forgiving, generous, restrained, patient, idealistic, altruist, sincere, sensible, and truthful in every term of life. Similarly, the massive thought of Islam inspires us to give up vanity, arrogance, insult, injustice, falsehood, violence, racism, partiality, nepotism, corruption, killing, stealing, betrayal, disobedience, trespassing, etc. Nobody can be a perfect pious Muslim without acquiring these virtues. However, the importance of these virtues in building a peaceful life needs no words to describe. So, we can take Islam as the religion of peace.

In addition, we all know that a peaceful life is not possible to achieve without safety and defense. Islam not only indicates the way to achieve a peaceful life but also shows how to defend it from enemies. Thus, some people claim that Islam spreads violence by the orders of Jihad. It’s a complete nonsense idea that proves the illiteracy of the ignorant one.

However, bunches of verses in the Qur’an and speeches of the Prophet SAW inspire us to maintain a peaceful and straightforward life by establishing peace through justice, equality, good behavior, right, charity, feeding hunger, safety, and security.
